The laying of the foundation stones of the first Roman Catholic Church, school and convent at Canberra was the occasion of a national pilgrimage of Roman Cathode representatives of all States, over live thousand being present, including tne Archbishops oi Sydney, of Melbourne, and of Brisbane.
