Violet Gibson, the English woman who' was arrested on a charge of making an attempt on the life of Signor Mussolini, has been released and taken to an asylum at Ceccano. SYDNEY, Jan. 24. Signor Commendatore Michele Blunno, who arrived at Sydney to-day en route to New Zealand to take up consular duties, says there will be no great influx of Italians to Australia as the landing money required by the Commonwealth Government, amounting to £4O, represented a small fortune to the average Italian workman LONDON, Jan. 24. The Daily Mail understands that the Anglo-Austra 1 ian beam wireless tests have not fulfilled the Post Office requirements owing to difficulties in connection with variation at the sunset periods along the route, although communication was satisfactory when the whole route was either light or dark. Observations by Rost Office engineers during the tests resulted in several modifications. LONDON, Jan. 23.
