+ — TEACHERS. FAVOUR CONTINUATION. IBi TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION .) CAMBRIDGE, Jan. 21. At a business meeting of the teachers attending the summer school, artei a keen -discussion, the following motions .were passed : “lhat the Summer Schools Movement should continue on the same broiad lines .and with the same cultural objectives as have characterised -the Cambridge meetings. “That the Summer School Movement should be developed as a Dominion, as opposed to a parochial organisation. •‘That- the next meeting should be held at at the most convenient centre hi the South Island, as an experimental venture, to test the possibility and advisability of a national organisation. “That the general executive be empowered to select the location for next year’s school and to establish a local organisation.’’ Mr. F. Milner, of Waitaki. was reelected president, and D. Rae. of Auckland, vice-president. Executive committee : Miss Hume, Messrs Johnson and Walker. The school, which closes to-morrow, has been an unqualified success. A: motor trip to Horahora and Arapuni was greatly enjoyed.
