The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board advises that the following prices are being offered for fat stock for export on January 15, 1927: —Hawke’s Bay: Prime woolly lambs, 36/under 8 LJ, 37/421hs 71 d, 43/over 7d; second quality lambs 7Ad. Wellington: Prime woolly lambs, 36/under SAd, 37/42 lbs 74d, 43/over 7d; second quality lambs 7 Ad; prime wethers, 56/under s:}d, 57/64 lbs 4Jd, 65/72 lbs 4ld; ewes, 56/under 34 c1, 57/64 lbs 3d. Canterbury: Prime woolly lambs, 36/under Bsd, 37/42 lbs Bd, 45/over 7d; second quality lambs 7iid; prime wethers, 56/under old, 57/64 lbs sd, 65/72 lbs 4sd; ewes, 48/under 3-Ad, 49/64 lbs 3-}d. FLUENZOL PROPRIETARY LTD. At the recent annual meeting of Fluenzol Proprietary Ltd., the directors reported that sales increased from £5731 to £6895. The profit and loss appropriation account, which was in debit £628 last year, is now in credit £513. Out of this it is proposed to pay a dividend at the rate of 6 per cent, for the year, absorbing £330, and apply the balance of £lB3 to further reduce the exploitation account (representing Australian losses) from £1212 to £1029. The profit would have been larger hut for the fact that the manufacturing expenses have increased 23 per cent., as against an increase of 20 per cent, in the sales; but there lias been a decided improvement in the quality of the QTol.
