The object for which this talented company is touring is a most worthy one. The programme to be submitted will be without doubt one of the best ever seen at Manaia, Wherever they have appeared throughout the North Island they have received a very fine reception. PERSONAL, Mr. A . Parkinson, of the staff of the Bank of New Zealand. Manaia, has been promoted to the charge of the bank at Waimate, South Island, and leaves to-day. Mr. Parkinson is a Manaia boy and .is well esteemed. He took a great interest in various sports. Mr. jla,un.sell takes Mr. Parkinson s place in Manaia.
