BURGLARY AT BLENHEIM. <OV TKI.F.GBAPH PRKSB ASSOCIATION.I BLENHEIM, Jan. 18. Last night the premises of. Clifford and Rothwell, Maxwell road, were burgled and £l7 3s was removed fiom the till. Entry was '‘obtained by breaking a pane of glass in a- window at the rear. It is believed to be the work of boys. JOY RIDER. AT WORK. BLENHEIM, Jan. 18. A iov rider has appeared in Blenheim * A motor car stolen from. • a parking place was recovered two days later on a conntrv road about three miles from Blenheim. There were indications that it had travelled a considerable distance. WELLINGTON'S WIRELESS STATION. WELLINGTON, Jan. 19. The new and powerful radio broadca.stin(T station, to be provided _ m Wellington for the Radio Broadcasting Oompanv, is to be erected on one ot the highest points of Roseneath. ihe new station is to be provided with a 30 K.V A. high voltage plant, which should be sufficient to enable listeners in from Whangarei to Invercargill to hear. It is expected the new station will iie ready about- the middle of April. DEC R EASE! IN POULTR Y. WELLINGTON. Jan. 19. According to- a return furnished to the Minister of Internal Affairs, poultry was less plentiful in New Zealand in' 1926 than in 1921. The latest census shows a decrease over, all classes of 209.864, MOTOR REGISTRATIONS. ■ WELLINGTON, Jan. 19. The monthly return of registered motor vehicles in the Dominion shows that the steady increase in being maintained. In November the registrations amounted to 152.573. and at- tli.e end of December last the total had grown to 155.325.
