VIOLENT BLIZZARD

A violent blizzard, which started in the middle of December and has since raged day and night, continues in the middle of Russia and Serbia, :ausing immense damage. Communications have been interrupted. Government despatches from Samara state that the loss of life must, be heavy. Relief parties, while endeavouring to restore communication, discovered 80 frozen bodies in a single canton near Samara.
