Mr li. G. Dickie, M.P., left for Wellington on Parliamentary business this morning. Mr C. F. Jacobs, of the Native Trust Office, is at present staying at the White Hart Hotel. Mr Charles Overton Smith, a draper of Rotorua, aged 67 years, fell and expired on the howling green, states a Press Association message from Rotorua. On Saturday last Miss Ekdahl received a present, of. an entree dish as a. mark of esteem from the rest of the staff. The presentation was made by Mr G. D. Dickie, deputy-chairman of the board of directors. The ex-Empress Charlotte of Mexico is dying (states a Press Association message from Brussels). Her mind has been deranged since her husband was murdered in 1867. He wa® Maximilian.
