ARRANGEMENTS AT SUVA. BY OABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT SUVA, Jan. 14. The Renown arrives at Suva on the afternoon of February 17, and will be escorted up the harbour by a. fleet of native sailing canoes. The Governor calls at 2.15 p.m. The official landing of the Duke and Duchess takes place at three o’clock. Thence they go to the Government House grounds and meet the school children. After a civic reception at 3.30 p.m., they go to Government House from 4.30 p.m. to 6 pirn. Native ceremonies begin at eight. There is to be a ball at the Grand Pacific Hotel, the guests to be presented at 10 p.m. On February 18 the Duke and Duchess will visit the war memorial hospital, and will go for a motor drive in the afternoon. They will have dinner on the Renown in the evening.
