MESSAGE FROM RENOWN WARMTH OF FAREWELL THE DUKE PLEASED. By CABLE—PK.ESS ASSOCIATION - COPYRIGH' I ' (Special Correspondent). RENOWN (at .sea), Jan. 7. The Duke of York, in a statement, said he had been deeply touched by the warmth and spontanity of the farewells at London and Portsmouth, as well as in the course of the railway journey, and he regarded these demonstrations of friendship as the happiest auguries for the success of the visit to Australia and New Zealand, to which be is looking forward with most pleasurable anticipation. ROYAL PAIR AT HOME ON RENOWN. Received 11.45 a.m. to-day. LONDON. Jan. 7. A massage from H.M.S. Renown, states ®iat their Royal Highnesses were snown over the ship. A fine model of the Renown in the wardroom was the object of .special attention. Kith were obviously at home afloat. The trerne comfort of the great battlecruiser was not affected by a choppy sea.
