INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC IN BERLIN. rtV CABLE PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT BERLIN, Jan. G. The influenza epidemic has developed with extraordinary suddenness. The health commissioners announced that there was no sign of an epidemic, but during the night 200 cases were sent to hospital. One death is certified as due to Spanish influenza. Though the number of cases at present is not serious, empty buildings are being prepared for as emergency hospitals.
