ACCIDENT TO LIMITED

SMALL SLIP FALLS OX TRAIN. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) PALMERSTON N., Jan. 6. The south-bound limited met with a slight mishap near Owliango at an early hour this morning, a .small slip descending on the train as it passed. The locality where the slip occurred was very rugged. Fortunately none of the were injured, although one at least received bruises from stones contained in the debris. The train proceeded on its journey, and it was not until the first station was reached that the accident was discovered by the officials.

On arrival at the local station this morning, tlxe damaged carriage bore evidence as to the impact of the fall of earth. Several of the windows were smashed and the fanlights were broken, while the roof and sides of the, car were covered with a deposit of mud.
