The estimated customs revenue for the first year was £21,000,000, whereas the revenue actually received was £22,139,653. The treasurer estimates that receipts for the year will amount to £45,000.000. The December receipts amounted to £3.887.227, being £BO,OOO in excess of any other month’s receipts since the establishment of the Commonweal th.
