The Hawera Methodist and Presbyterian combined Sunday school picnic will be held at Opunake on February 2 The Australian Silver Band has booked the Egmont A. and P. .ground for a concert on the evening of Thursday, the 13th inst. The liquidators of the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition Company (Ltd.). Dunedin, have declared a second and final dividend of 3s 7d in the £1 on all share capital and donations, thus making, with the first dividend already paid, a total refund of 16s Id m the £l. The liquidators’ statement of accounts for the period from July 20 last to the completion of the liquidation shows that £13,197 Is 5d was received from salvage, £566 16s Sd from sundry debtors, £609 4s 3d from interest, and £122 os 6d from sundry recoveries. Among the payments were £1269 4s 2d on buildings and erection®, £149 13s 3d on general expenses, £6S9 18s on a pictorial history of the exhibition. and £654 18s 9d for the official record. The payment of the first dividend of 12s 6d in the £1 absorbed £51.755 13s 9d. and the payment of the second dividend absorbs £14,836 12s 7d.
