ALLEGED CANNIBALISM.
SIEGE OF CHINESE CITY. HARDSHIPS OF FOREIGNERS. LONDON, Dec. 9. Dogs had vanished from the streets, and the troops tvere eating horse-flesa and mi let Di lU Clement Stockley, a local medical missionary, in a letter to a, frienc i Pekin, savs that the situation is aes perate, and that hundreds are dying dailv. The foreigners, however, can hold out for a fortnight if allowed to retain their present food supplies.
