DUKE OF YORK’S TOUR.
MAKING PREPARATIONS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION--COPYRIGHT. LONDON, Dec. 24. The Duke and Duchess of York, with their baby, made the journey to Sandringham to join the Christmas party, and will return on Tuesday to their London residence. After that the Duke and Duchess will devote themselves solely to preparations for their departure. The Sunday Express states that 19 motor ears for the use of the Duke and Duchess and their staff are being shipped to New Zealand and .Australia. Among the 37 instrumentalists in the Royal Marines ’ Band accompanying the Duke and Duchess in the Renown will be eleven expert jazz players, according to the Daily Chronicle.
