* ■ DEVELOPMENT OF LAND. (b> TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 18. The initial steps are being taken in Auckland for the promotion of a Dominion League designed to secure the co-operation of town and country _in the development of and the bringing into full production of all undeveloped or partially developed land; also to assist generally in increasing the returns from the soil. The league is to be entirely a non-party or political organisation, and already .sufficient funds have been promised in Auckland, _to make the appointment of a- Dominion organiser possible.
