At the inquest a verdict was returned of accidental death, the Coroner stating that there was no suggestion of drink in any way, Box being a steady man. Mrs C. F.. Skovington (70). of Waikuku. died at the hospital yesterday as the result of injuries received by being thrown from a trap on Thursday. through the horse shying. MISSING MAN’S BOD.Y FOUND. AUCKLAND, Dee. 18. The body of John Ignatius Fox, who disappeared from his farm on Wednesday, wa.s found in the Henderson Creek on Saturday afternoon. At the inquest on Sunday a letter was produeed which stated that although he had been awarded damages in a libel action, originating in Waikato. he believed his friends viewed him with suspicion, on account of the allegation that he was a German spy. Fox mentioned the names of two British officers who could dissipate' the stigma. A verdict of supicide while suffering from depression was returned.
