SPEEDING UP MAILS A COBHAM EXPERIMENT. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 1.20 a.m. to-day. LONDON, Nov. 14. Sir Alan Oobliam is taking aboard the s.s. Homeric a small Moth seaplane for an American purchaser. When the liner approaches New York Sir Alan. Oobliam will take a number of mail bags, and fly ashore. The aviator says he has long thought of such co-operation between ’planes and boats to speed up mail delivery. He will work out during the voyage the possibility of liners carrying larger aeroplanes for .similar purposes.
