CAMBRIDGE TERRACE LAND DEAL. £15,500 AWARDED. The case in which Anthony Harperclaimed £20,000 from the Minister of Public Works as compensation for 61 feet of frontage in Cambridge Terrace, taken by the Crown by proclamation in August last for the purpose of erecting a new post office to replace the Courtenay Place post office, was continued in the Supreme Court at Wellington yesterday, before Mr. Justice MacGregor. After hearing evidence as to valuations, the Court adjourned. Upon resinning, it was. announced that the claimant would be awarded £15,500 as compensation on all counts. The assessors were also awarded £lO 10s each per day. The respondent was ordered to pay to the claimant £l5O costs. —Dominion.
