NOBEL PRIZE.
AWARDS ANNOUNCED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPY RIGHT. LONDON, Nov. 11. The Nobel prize for literature for 1925 has been awarded to Mr George Bernard Shaw. The prize is worth £6500. The 1926 prize has not been awarded. Mr Shaw, when interviewed, said that the award is a mystery. He supposes he got it because he wrote nothing at all in 1925. STOCKHOLM, Nov. 12. The Nobel prize for physics for 1925 has been divided between Professor J. Frank, of Gottingcr, and Professor G. Hertz, of Halle. The 1926 prize has been awarded to Professor Jean Perrin, of the Paris Sorbonner.
