♦ CAR OVERTURNS. '« , TELEGRAPH PHUSW ASSIMIUTIO«J ’ WAIROA, Nov. 10. : A car driven by W. Mitchell, while returning from Nuhaka 'to Wailiokopu last evening, developed trouble with the steering gear. It overturned, pinning one of the occupants, Mrs*Rarere, underneath. The driver escaped inurv, but Mrs Rarere is suffering from iruises, cuts and shock. CHILD KILLED BY TRAM. DUNEDIN, Nov. 10. On her way to Columba College School this morning, Frances Begg, aged eight years, was' cut down by a Kaikorai cable car and instantly killed. The deceased tried to run over a crossing in front of the car. She was a daughter of Mr James Begg. a retired sheep farmer, known throughout- the Dominion as last year’s president of the Navy League. He was n member of the Taxation Commission of 1924.
