AN IMPUDENT THEFT. (BY T3LKORAPFI PRESS ASSOCIATION HAMILTON, Nov. 10. Dick Jones, a labourer of Arapuni, was sentenced to four months’ imprisonment tliis morning on a charge of obtaining £5 by fraud from a local hotelkeeper. The' magistrate said he would have let accused off had it not been that he left a note with the words: ‘‘A trap for learners.” This showed his clear intention of not repaying.
