Speaking in the House of Commons, .niter the re-assembling of Parliament l ii'or the autumn session, Major the Rt. Hon Sir P. Cunliffe-Lister (Con.) said the loss of production since May 1, due to the miners’ strike, was estimated at between £200,000,000 and £300,000,000. It was impossible to estimate the losses due to contingent disturbances in trade. Mr. G. R. Lane-Fox (Con.) announced that 16,-500,000 tons of coal had been imported since May 1.
