A forward move in bringing together Justices of the Peace Associations throughout New Zealand was made at a conference of Justices in Auckland last night, delegates being present from Wellington, Christchurch, and Auckland. It was decided to form an organisation to be known as the Federation of Justices of the Peace Associations of New Zealand. The new constitution, with a set of rules, is to be prepared and submitted to a conference to be held at Dunedin next March. The delegates expressed their satisfaction at unanimity being reached, as Auckland has for some time been estranged from the southern associations. LUMBAGO. Lumbago is a rheumatism of the muscles of the back. There is no need whatever of internal treatment of any sort —all that is required is to apply Chamberlain’s Pain Balm and massage the baelt at each application. It is always best to keep quiet for a few days, as every movement of the body aggravates the disease. Chamberlain’s Pain Balm has been used successfully in inanv cases. One application relieves the pain. Sold everywhere.— Advt.
