LATE SPORTING.
♦ TRAINING AT 111 CCA KTON. (.Bl TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION . ) CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 3. Training operations at Riecarton provided very little interest. Most horses with engagements were out, but the tasks were very light. Mireusonta sprinted four furlongs in 50 4-ssec.. and pulled up well. Enare was slightly better than Radiac, with Rangi Sarto several lengths away, after schooling over four hurdles. Full Swing got away with its rider and went three times round the plough at a sound pace, hut was all right afterwards. Other horses were restricted to easy tasks preparatory to the final gallops to-morrow. Battlement was an absentee, having jarred a joint, and scratched for the Derby. Ravenna. Overdrawn, Circulation and High Gear arrived last night from the south.
