The newspaper Midi asserts that a detachment of Fascist! sent from Genoa to reinforce frontier guards provoked the Ventmiglia incident. They \ oKed an incident at Ventmig ia. They tory at the international station, alleging that three men on the balcony did not bare their heads. Fascisti, by hitting and kicking, expelled 15 Frenchmen. They snatched a cigarette from an engine-dilver’s lips, saying that he must not smoke in the presence of a Fascist. The police cleared out the Fascisti. who were damaging the French trains The Fascist who broke into the consulate has been arrested.
