WELLINGTON’S WATER. SUPPLY. (by telegraph—press ASSOCIATION.; WELLINGTON, Nov. 3. After years of delay, caused principally by the non-delivery of'pipes, the last length of the new main to> bring water through the Orangorongo, tunnel, was laid'yesterday. The cost, including £IBO,OOO for the tunnel, was £354,000. DIPHTHERIA AT KAITANGATA. DUNEDIN, Nov. 3. The diphtheria, outbreak lat Kai•tangata shows no signs of abating. There have been three deaths ,since Friday and several new cases have been notified.
