While driving a car last night near the Blackball coal bins, Frank Cameron, a married man, a commercial traveller, had two ribs and a collarbone broken and received facial injuries when the ear skidded on the greasy road and somersaulted over the bank.

A CHILD DROWNED. WHANGAREI, Nov. 2. Erie Kenneth Nelson, a two-vear-old child wandered into a stream at Tapuihi and was drowned. Ducks are believed to have attacked the infant.
