OPENED TO-DAY. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) PALMERSTON N., Nov. 2. The forty-first- annual spring ishow of the Manawatu A. and P. Association opened this morning in glorious weather. Despite the blockage in the Manawatu Gorge, only two exhibitors from. Hawke’s Bay wlio entered stock did not send their animals by the special train which was arranged for via Wairarapa and Wellington. The general entries exceed last year’s total by 407. Conditions indicate a- most successful show.
