The mam object was to retain, as far as was possible. the natural features and community of interest of electorates. Sydney and suburbs including Parramatta, previously having 40 seats, will now have 4b.' the country seats being reduced from 45 to 39. Newcastle and surrounding district havo been increased to six shats. The ann of the commission has been to fPT® each seat a. quota of hetweeii 13 ? 0(X) and 14,000 electors.
