An achievement requiring a eon siderabie amount of nerve and skill was accomplished by Mr. Bay Bees, when lie found it necessary to drive his motor-lorry backwards for a distance of 22 miles in carrying out- a contract to deliver two steel girders from the Baurinui station to the site of the new bridge which is to cross the Tuapakurua stream on the WaimarinoRetaruke Boad (states the New Zealand Herald’s Taumarunui correspondent). The most convenient method of transporting the girders, each of which is 40ft. long by 11 tons in weight, was to pivot the ends on to two lorries, backed to within approximately 30ft. of each other. In this manner the whole distance, which included the descent of the Kaitieke Hill, was successfully negotiated in five and a half hours. The driver had a stiff neck at the end of the journey. Coughs and coldis and hay fever are prevalent. Take “Nazol,” the scientific, common-sense remedy. Goes right to the root of the trouble. Is 6d buys 60 doses, ready for use. 1
