The State Assembly read a. second time a Bill for the creating of a rural bank as a department of the State’s savings hank. It oronoses to make available £5,000.000* for advances to farmers, renayable over a period of 35 years, also fixed loans repayable in five years. In addition the hank will he emnowered to grant seasonal advances to meet requirements.
