The Chief Justice, the Hon. 0. P. Skerrett, after stating the case ,isaid that the failure of the employee in not using a protection belt was not negligence, as no precaution was needed, for the wires should have been dead, /and were stated by the corporation to 'be dead. There was ion absolute duty on the part of / the corporation not to employ men on -l, wires which had not been cut ; off unless i.t supplied an insulated platform, which it did not do. The appeal wax dismissed, costs on the highest scale being allowed. Mir L. M. Mass aippeared for the employee and Mr. Blair for the Inglewood Borough Council.
