FINAL RETURNS OF VOTING. by cable—press association— copyright. Received 11.20 a.m. to-day. MELBOURNE, Oct. 6. Final returns of the referenda voting show that in the case of industry and commerce issues 1,247,083 voted “yes and 1,619,655 voted “no.” In the case of essential services 1,195,502 voted “ves” and 1,597.793 voted, “no.’ Altogether there was 268,730 informal votes.
