DISSATISFACTION SAID TO EXIST.
ALLEGATIONS, OF 'ENGINEERS’ JOURNAL.
(BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. The Locomotive Engineers’ Journal indicates that there is serious dissatisfaction in the railway service, both with-the Ministers and the board. The Journal alleges grave mismanagement. The old bogey that no money is available to meet requests for increased wages and improved conditions will not be accepted while the present management exists. Among the complaints is one “regarding the quality of the coal supplied. Stop-work meetings are hinted at to compel the management to reduce the prevalence of draw-gen r failure. The grand council meeting on November_;22 ,which will discuss the question ways n.nd means for securing increased wages and improved conditions is described as being moment ous. ' *ri
