MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
FOUND ON LICENSED PREMISES
At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, before Mr J. S. Barton, S.M., Arnold J. Kelly and James Newman, of Hawera,' charged with, being found without lawful excuse on the licensed premises of the Dominion Hotel, Hawera, at 7.50 p.m. on September 19, forwarded written pleas of guilty. Sergeant - Henry stated that these were the first charges preferred against defendants. Both were coiivicted and fined £1 and 7s costs. " MAINTENANCE ARREARS. Harold Arden, of Hamilton, charged with being £ls in arrears up to August 19, 1926, with maintenance payments for thie support of his illegitimate child, was sentenced to a month’s imprisonment in Mt. Eden gaol, to be released oil payment of the arrears, together with solicitor’s costs £2 2s.
