SUZANNE AND PARTNERS
VISIT TO AUSTRALIA'DOUBTFUL.
BY CABLE —PBESS ASSOCIATION —COPYBIGHT. NEW YORK, Sept. 27. . A variety of rumours concerning the visit of Mile Lenglen anil other tennis players to Australia have been branded false by Mr Pyle, who states that the plans even for the American tour are not yet. formulated. Mr. Pyle six weeks ago announced that he hoped after the-Davis Cup matches and the national singles to be able to engage a number of prominent mn'ie players for the American tour, but all the leading players denied the intention ot tinning professional. . . .Anything assuming the proportions of a. world's tour for Mr. Pyle s players is generally doubted, as is the prolsability of the success of the American tour, upon which excursions abroad, including Australia, would depend. Mr Pvle at the present has engaged onlv Mile Lenglen, Miss Brown, and Paul Feret, and it is questioned whether these-' wit lion t considerable augmentation, would lie sufficient foi playing exhibition matches.
