Fbr the first time in many years a ■foot and imoiuitb disease outbreak has 'occurred at Southgate, London, where 'Doctor Corner's valuable pedigree herd bf 59 head, which has taken .twenty-five ‘years to build up, has been destroyed. D.r. Corner says that he was upon the point of important discoveries, ‘which, he believed would have solved the vital question of breeding for milk. ‘He supplied locally 40 to 50 gallons ’of milk weekly at 75 per cent above the 'required standard.
