A WOMAN FINED. (BY TELEGRAPH —PBEBB ASSOCIATION.) WANGANUI, Sept. 25.^_ Annie Elizabeth Brown was fined £75 for using her premises as a common gaming house? on September 16. Henry William Hume, for assisting, was fined £lO. - The - premises were those of a tobacconist and hairdressing _ saloon occupied by her husband. Betting was transacted in an office. Decision was reserved on a charge against Thomas Alfred Brown, of wilfully permitting premises to be used as a common gaming house by his wire.
