WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY. FRENCH EXPERIMENTS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 11.45 <a.m. to-day. The F’rench Post Office is experimenting with a new application of wireless to the Baudot system., between Bordeaux .and Madagascar. It is claimed to be fifteen times as fast ia.s the present wireless transmission, and operates without any sacrifice of security or .secrecy. The messages are automatically transmitted and printed .at the receiving end. The inventors assert that the device will render undersea cable obsolete, and considerably reduce rates.—Sydney Sun Cable.
