Through, the efforts of the Hankow and Wuchang Chambers of Commerce, it is reported that thirteen foreign women and girls in the besieged city of Wuchang were permitted to leave today. Meantime the siege continues unabated. Reports from all sources reveal unprecedented national unrest. The country’, from end to end is engulfed in the greatest maelstrom of warfare for several decades.
