-GRAND THEATRE; —TO-NIGHT. TOM MIX AND TONY. In “The Lucky Horseshoe,” which comes to the Grand Theatre to-night for a two nights’ season, Tom Mix will Have a, surprise in store for hist legion of admirers. He will appear in . a western picture that is decidedly “different.” ' For half of the picture Tom is ini a dream —but while he is dreaming he is performing the most heroic feats in defence of his lady fair. He imagines himself to be Don Juam de Montoro of Spain, and the girl of his dreams is Lady Isabel. He rescues her from Don Luis del Rey after a series of the most breath-taking fights—and flights—and then the dream dissolves again into the western scenes wherein the story started. Mr Mix is ably supported in both the modern and medieval -sequences by the same cast, including Billie Dove, playing opposite him; J. Farrell MacDonald, Maleolmn Waite, J. Gunniis Davis, Ann Pennington, and Clarissa- Sejwyn. “The-Lucky Horseshoe” will he shown at the .Opera House on Thursday afternoon-, commencing at 2 o’clock. EMPRESS PICTURES, MAN AI A.
