BEING TOWED TO NAPIER

(BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 20. The Commander of H.M.S. Dunedin wirelessed' that at noon to-day the Dunedin was towing the Awarua to Napier. He was then 39 degrees l 49 minutes l south and l 178 degrees. 30 minutes east. (This makes the Dunedin about 60 miles , from Napier, slightly south of east.) The Commander also wirelessed that he was then towing the Awarua at the rate of three knots an hour. If this speed be maintained the vessel should arrive at Nairier about 8 o’clock tomorrow morning. SHIP IN SIGHT AT NAPIER. NAPIER., Sept. 21. H.M.S. Dunedin, with the Awarua, in tow, is making slow progress across the bav. It is not expected! the warship will come to anchor before 2 p.m.
