TILDEN TOO GOOD FOR BOROTRA. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. NEW YORK, Sept. 9. In the first set-, Tilden was too accurate for Borotra. but the Frenchman brought the crowd to its feet with some amazing strokes. Tilden had a./cannonball service, the working of which his opponent was hard pressed to handle. The Frenchman was inaccurate in his forehand game from deep court and was ineffective. Tilden, bv mixing chons with hard drives down the side lines, let Borotra beat himself. During desperate rallies, Borotra played some of the greatest tennis ever seen in the Davis Cup matches. In the second set lie- went into the lead, but Tilden’s chops soon turned the tide. H-s smashing service aces and placements defeating the Frenchman^
