METHODIST CHOIR.
PRESENTATION TO MR H. C. A FOX.
In the Methodist Hall last evening a presentation was made to Mir H. C. A. Fox on behai’if of the choir. The gift took the form of a Grindstone bag, (suitably inscribed, and was made as a mark of esteem for the 'manner in Which Mr Fox conducted the choir’s activities in the recent competitions. The .presentation was made by the Rev.. W. J. Oxbrow, who referred to the sterling qualities of Mr Fox *s a conductor.. Miss M. HrnlreU -presented Mrs Fox with a bouquet, with best 'wishes from the members of the choir. Messrs T. Hurrell and Herbert Smith also referred, to the good work done by Mr Fox. In the course of .the evening the following items were given: Songs, Mrs- E. Garter, with flute, obligato bv Mr Fox ; sougs, Messrs E. H. Piper amdl C. Douglas; cornet isdlb, Mr Fox; recitations, Misses M. Dixon and Fox, and Master Louis Fox; pianoforte sok>, Miss A. .Curtis. Miss Roigers and Mr Thtamber played the accompaniments. A very pleasant evening was brought to a close ‘by the singing of “For They are JoFv Good Fellows.”
