MAORI BOY MISSING.
DISAPPEARS FROM FRASER ROAD
As a result of a call by three Maoris on Constable Pidgeon, of Normanby, inquiries have been instituted regarding the whereabouts of Tommy Tumoana, a 17-yen‘r-old Maori lad, who has been missing for a- week to-day. The absent native is the son of parents residing; in Fraser Road. Yesterday week he returned from Waverley, where lie had. been for several months. The following morning he disappeared, and has not beeii seen since Tommy Tumoana is oft 4 inches in height, sturdily built, said to be of a surly disposition, and to have, been wearing a red and black jersey when last seen. j On previous occasions the youth has. gone a way for days at a time. In view, however, of the. length of this absence, and the fact that he had been known to take fits, anxiety has been created for his wellfare.
