CABLE LAYING
LARGEST SECTION IN THE WORLD.
(by TELEGRAPH PBESS ASSOCIATION.', AUCKLAND, Sept. 3. The Pacific Cable Board advises: its Auckland office that the .steamer Dominica, which is to lay the BamfieldFanning Island section, leaves London on Tuesday, and will be .followed on Friday by the Faraday, which will put down tlie Fanning island-Suva section. The laying of the cable, which will! be of 3458 nautical miles, the longest 'section in -the world, is expected to lie completed in November.
