ALLEGE!* FRAUD
(BY TELEGRAPH riIESS ASSOCIATION.) . BLENHEIM. Sept. 2. Alfred Scott- (56) was charged that on or about August 13, at Pongaroa. with obtaining 16 guineas from Alt'ted Richard Leevers, by means of false pretence, with intent to defraud. He jivas remanded to appear at Pnhiatua on September 8. The accused was arrested at Beiiopai, the head works of the Marlborough hydroelectric scheme.
