MILLS—DEATH
A wedding that aroused al great deal of interest was solemnised at St. Mary’s Church, Hawera, on AVednesday, August 25, 1926, when. Vincent Harry, son, of Airs Mills, of Tokaora, was united in the / bonds of holy matrimony to Mary Beatrice, .second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. ' Albert Death, Lake Road, Hawera. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. AY. Monaghan. The bride looked charming in a whit© satin damask dress with orthodox wreath and veil. She was attended by her two sisters Mavis iand Edna, as bridesmaids. They were dressed in fawn floral crepe de chene with white hats trimmed with blue iand pink respectively. They wore pearl necklets, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridegroom l was attended by Air. E. O’Rlegam as best man a.nd Ala-. H. Alills as groomsman. After the ceremony a large number of guests iand friends of the family were entertained ,at the residence of the bride’s parents to a, • sumptuous wedding repast-, and where the usual toasts were honoured. Later in th e afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Alills motored to> AVangamui, enroute to Palmerston North and AVoodv.iilc where the honeymoon was spent, the bride travelling in ,a blue tailor-made costume with blue bat to match. On their return they will take up their residence at, Tokaora where Air. Alills is farming. The present® were numerous and costly.
